Regions and coverage
Bite Intel covers five regions: the Gulf of America, three along the East Coast, and Baja. The layers follow the region selected in the app, not where you pan. Outside the regions the map shows the chart alone; the layers stop at the region's edge.
More detail
Where each region runs. Gulf of America: Brownsville, Texas east to the Florida Keys, and south into the middle of the basin. The three East Coast regions, Southern New England to Charleston, Central Florida to Cape Hatteras, and South Florida and the Bahamas, each cover a stretch of the coast and the water offshore, and they overlap where they meet. Baja: the peninsula and Pacific Mexico, from Cabo up to about Guerrero Negro.
Changing region. Switch the region instead of panning past its edge. You set your home region in Account, and it decides where the map opens.
Regions and your account. Every account can open every region. "This region is not included in your subscription" means the region is on screen but not on your plan.
Species by region. Sailfish, yellowfin, bigeye, skipjack, wahoo, mahi-mahi and swordfish can appear in every region, and blue marlin has Atlantic maps for the Gulf of America and the East Coast and Pacific maps for Baja. White marlin, king mackerel, cobia, blackfin tuna and Atlantic bluefin tuna are not offered in all areas.
