Score breakdown crosshair
ProOn the website, click the map with a species selected and a breakdown panel opens for that spot. The small white crosshair marks the exact point the panel describes and goes away when you close the panel. On the iPhone app the fixed map crosshair does this job.

More detail
What the panel tells you. It takes the score at that spot, a 0 to 100 habitat match: how much the water there resembles water that species has been caught in, and shows which conditions pushed the score up and which pulled it down.
How to open it on the website. First pick a species from the Bite Intel button on the bottom bar. Then click the water you care about, or click the fish button at the top of the control stack on the right, which opens the breakdown for the middle of the map. Click another spot and both the crosshair and the panel move to it. Click on the map itself, away from any panel or button.
How to open it on the iPhone app. With a species picked, drag the map so the spot is under the fixed crosshair and tap the fish button at the top of the controls on the right.
Limits. The panel shows a breakdown only over water where the species map has a forecast, on a date and time the forecast covers. It describes one cell of the map, not a single point. It describes the newest three-hour step at or before the time you picked. If the crosshair is hard to see, lower the opacity of the species map.
Who makes it. The score and its breakdown are RipIQ's own work.
